Basil Pesto

Servings: about 1 cup

Cookware Needed:

  • Blender or Food Processor

Grocery List:

  • 2 cups Basil Leaves
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste, or 1 Garlic Clove
  • ~ ¼ cup of Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste (~ ¼ tsp)

Recipe:

  1. Combine everything and Pulse/Chop in the Blender. Optionally, add more olive oil as needed for a smoother pesto
  2. Serve on Sourdough Bread, Pizza, Paninis, Crackers, in Pasta or anything else you’d like! Store in an airtight container in the fridge about a week, this also freezes well.
