Candied Pecans

Cookware Needed:

  • frying pan

Grocery List:

  • 1 – cup pecan halves
  • 3 – TBSPs brown sugar
  • 1 – TBSP water
  • ¼ – tsp salt
  • ¼ – tsp cinnamon

Recipe:

  1. Add brown sugar, water, salt, and cinnamon to a frying pan and cook over medium heat for about 1 minute.
  2. Add 1 cup of pecan halves and stir frequently to coat them all, cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Transfer to parchment paper and break apart clusters. Allow the pecans to cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Optionally, top with sea salt.

Notes:

  • This recipe doubles well.
  • Try other types of nuts or spices like cayenne or walnuts.
